For the last seven days, the streets of New York City have been electrified. Amazing street style  has been a focal point and celebrities from every corner of the world flocked to the Big Apple for one coveted event: New York Fashion Week.

Even with the change up of the location from Lincoln Center, the show went on as people attended events all over the city to look at new Spring/ Summer 2016 collections. Here are the NYFW highlights:

THE SHOWS

Givenchy

The brand largely associated with the Kardashians had a media frenzy when they announced that they’d be giving out free tickets to their fashion show. The public was overjoyed as they were allowed access to the show that definitely didn’t disappoint. The collection was a translation of goth and glamour.

 

LC Lauren Conrad

Lauren Conrad, who was first introduced to Hollywood as a star on Laguna Beach and The Hills has since become a respected designer and entrepreneur. She decided to debut her S/S 2016 collection for Kohl’s on the runway. The collection was a chic and lively combination.

Oscar de la Renta

This was the second season that creative director Peter Copping designed for the iconic brand and his collection was true to the de la Renta aesthetic. the collection consisted of romantic lace and passionate shades of crimson.

THE PARTIES

OK! Magazine’s Spring 2016 NYFW Party

The party hosted at HAUS Nightclub on September 15, 2015 was filled to the brim with television stars. Celebrities sighted include Jenelle Evans (of Teen Mom 2), Karrueche Tran, Claudia Jordan (Real Housewives of Atlanta), Samantha “Sammi Sweetheart” Giancola (Jersey Shore) and our Flawless Living founder Chantelle Fraser.

Galore Magazine NYFW Party

The party celebrating Kylie Jenner’s magazine cover was on September 15, 2015 at Up&Down Nightclub. The Kardashian-Jenner clan was in full force at the event with their celebrity friends, minus Kim Kardashian West.
